La Petite Maison, which lies at the back of La Maison des Barriques, opens on to a picturesque and secluded square in the heart of this hamlet. This little house (but not so little), has a traditional French feel with original double doors and windows, exposed beams and decorated in a contemporary fresh French country style.

The accommodation is on three floors providing two double bedrooms both with their own en suite shower, wc and wash hand basin.

The entrance doors open into a large vestibule with double doors to the spacious Bedroom 1 with double bed. A simple wooden staircase winds up to the first floor into the light and airy kitchen / dining area with wooden floor and where a large ‘porte fenetre’ with wrought iron balustrading opens to lookout over the little street and square below. From here, double doors open into Bedroom 2 with twin beds. The stairs continues up to the second floor entering a very light and spacious living area with sloping ceilings and white washed timber floor. A large glazed screen looks out onto a totally private roof terrace perfect for eating al fresco and enjoying the sun.

Guest’s comments

“We were so pleased with our stay at Le Petit Maison. It’s a well furnished and beautifully decorated home in the stunning, peaceful hamlet in the foothills. If you’re looking for relaxation this is the place! Great welcome from the hosts too. Lovely walking/running routes through the local forest and vineyards. We’d love to return!”  Anna T. July 2018

“We loved the way you have renovated and decorated La Petite Maison – one of the prettiest and most comfortable places we have stayed. The local area is gorgeous – we are going to try to keep it a secret so it won’t get spoiled!”

“It’s hard to do justice to the way we felt about this place in just a few words, we had the most perfect week. The house itself has such a warm and welcoming feel to it and was everything we hoped for. Beautifully put together with thought and comfort and lots of little extra which made living there for a week so happy. Jane was so welcoming and her house is spotlessly clean, in a wonderful location and theres just much to do and see in the area.” Annie S.  Sept 2017
